The World Race has been an answer to a prayer I have been praying for years. God is so good!
There have been many times throughout these past few weeks where Iโve just been so overjoyed to be in the moment.
This community of young adults who love God and spend time with him in silence and worship constantly is a true blessing to my heart and is changing my own relationship with God
I have learned to get away to be with God and just sit and let him clear my mind daily. This is also teaching me more about myself.
The World Race training camp was a surreal experience. There are 30 people in my squad and because of that it was difficult to be more personal with each person, especially because I need a good amount of time to connect with people. For the fist 7 days I felt very disconnected, but so grateful to be were I was.
There were so many good teachings about Identity, Seeing God as a Father, Cultural teachings, and ATL (ask the Lord). There was organized and spontaneous worship, and plenty of team time where we got to share and prey with each other. Speaking of prayer, God has slowly grown me more confident in praying out loud which has been a blessing to me and others.
We are in Butere, Kenya at the moment so I will be putting a blog out about my time here soon.
